Thanks to local law enforcement for protecting us and for working on Memorial Day weekend!

Conroe, May 27 – As we get this Memorial Day Weekend 2017 going, let’s all thank our local law enforcement for their outstanding service in protecting us. Every time they leave home, sworn peace officers don’t know with certainty that they’ll be returning to their spouses and children at the end of their shift. They’ve got to make split-second decisions on the job that often involve life and death situations.

Many of our local law enforcement officers will work this weekend to protect us, sometimes from ourselves and sometimes from others. Thanks to all of them for working this Memorial Day Weekend, so that we don’t have to do so and so that we can enjoy our families and the peace and comfort of our homes.

Memorial Day began as a tribute to the men and women who serve under the American Flag to protect us. That includes our law enforcement officers who are an important reason that we have the governments that exist to protect us from predators, both foreign and domestic.

Thank you to all law enforcement! The following are the leaders of the County law enforcement departments. Let’s remember all 988 of the men and women who protect us as sworn peace officers AND the wonderful support staff who work with them.

Montgomery County Sheriff Rand Henderson.
Precinct 1 Constable Philip Cash, Montgomery County.
Precinct 2 Constable Gene De Forest, Montgomery County.
Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable, Montgomery County.
Precinct 4 Constable Rowdy Hayden, Montgomery County.
Precinct 5 Constable David Hill, Montgomery County.
