New York and Conroe, January 2 – The TGH 25 Stock Index fell 0.18% during the past two weeks, on strong investor feelings that the economy heads towards a recession.

Since the entire purpose of the TGH 25 Stock Index is to measure the true condition of the United States economy, one would expect that the index would be less volatile than the other stock indices which the liberal news media tends to highlight. The market continued to react to political occurrences.

ExxonMobil (XOM) showed the strongest advance among the stocks in the TGH 25 Stock Index during the past week.

Kelli Ann Cox, Publisher of The Golden Hammer, said about last week’s trading, “As Queen Elizabeth once said, it’s been an ‘annis horribilis.’ Stock investors have no confidence whatsoever that the Biden White House has any direction at all. Traders believe the world economy, anchored with terrible U.S. leadership, stands ready to plummet into recession. Therefore, it’s no surprise that the TGH 25 Stock Index has spiraled downward during 2022.”
