New York and Conroe, June 20 – The TGH 25 Stock Index fell 10.5 %, which was the worst single week of the economic measure since its inception in October, 2020.
Since the entire purpose of the TGH 25 Stock Index is to measure the true condition of the United States economy, one would expect that the index would be less volatile than the other stock indices which the liberal news media tends to highlight. The market continued to react to political occurrences.
Boeing (BA) showed the strongest advance among the stocks in the TGH 25 Stock Index during the past week.
Kelli Ann Cox, Publisher of The Golden Hammer, said about last week’s trading, “Boeing was the only stock on the entire TGH 25 Stock Index which rose during the past week, an abysmal week of trading. The Biden economy is in freefall in just about every sector. Even oil companies had a rough week, as fears of the looming recession have overwhelmed most company forecasts. The only reason Boeing didn’t fare as poorly as two-fold: first, Boeing has had such a poor 2022 that the company could go nowhere but up; second, Boeing has enjoyed some revenue from weapons system sales as a result of Biden’s disastrous commitment to the Ukraine war.”
