Sheriff’s Office seeks identities of Burlington Coat Factory thieves

Perp in action at Burlington Coat Factory.

New Caney, September 26 – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has requested that the community assist in identifying the thieves who hit a Burlington Coat Factory store in New Caney on September 17, 2017, and then again three days later. On September 17, 2017 and again on September 19, 2017, the suspect pictured below and two unidentified black females committed theft at the Burlington Coat Factory located at 21392 US Highway 59, New Caney, Texas 77357.

In both instances, the suspects fled Burlington Coat Factory through an emergency exit door with several thousand dollars in stolen merchandise. According to video surveillance footage from both incidents, the suspects pushed a cart full of stolen items to the emergency exit, loaded up their arms with merchandise, and then ran to a waiting passenger car.

In the September 17, 2017, incident the two suspects got into a white, four door passenger car and drove away.

In the September 19, 2017 incident, the two unidentified black females ran out of the fire exit door with merchandise and got into a gold four door passenger vehicle and drove away. In both thefts one of the black females had a half-sleeve tattoo on her left arm.
