Montgomery County, June 29 – Quadvest President Simon Sequeira will headline a raucous edition of “It’s Hammer Time,” the controversial Facebook Live television show, which appears both on Facebook and YouTube at MCP.TV, on Friday, June 29, 2018, at 12 noon. Sequeira’s Quadvest is a leading water and sewer utility company and also a large groundwater producer which is involved in litigation with the San Jacinto River Authority.
Sequeira is a nationally-renowned expert on property rights and water conservation issues. He’s also a founder of RAW, the political group organizing activists for the November, 2018, General Election that will involve election of the Board of Directors of the Lonestar Groundwater Conservation District for the first time in its history.
The second half of the show will be a live interview with the three newly-elected officers of the Montgomery County Republican Party as well as some of the members of the new Party Steering Committee. The three officers are Reagan Reed, Executive Vice Chairman, Rachel Bingham, Secretary, and John Hill Wertz, Treasurer. Montgomery County Republican Party Chairman Walter D. Wilkerson, Jr., was unable to participate in the show due to a conflicting funeral service he will attend.
There are a lot of major questions the citizens of Montgomery County have for the new leadership of the County Republican Party, who will work under Wilkerson as County Chairman. The main question is whether they intend to unify the County Republican Party or allow the disunity which has marred the Party for approximately two decades to continue.
