“I passed an anti-discrimination bill this session where Texas pensions cannot invest in companies that discriminate against Israel. I’m delivering the Governor’s pen that was used to sign the legislation to Prime Minister Netanyahu on Wednesday. Historic and much coveted experience for me . Then going on a religious site tour for a few days .

“We are on the Syrian Border today . Currently, I’m at the northern Israeli Air Force Base in a fighter pilot briefing . It is incredible how much these military officers cherish US support and how much they know about Texas. I’ll be in Jerusalem tonight.

“Earlier before the President’s announcement [on withdrawal from the Iran Arms deal], I was here at Golan Heights on the Syrian Border.

“In briefings with the Israeli Air Force on Israel’s most northern military base . Witnessed the assembly of the Iron Dome missile defense battery in a valley below Golan Heights near Mt. Bental. Now headed to Old Jerusalem.

“A travel ban was issued for this area today as I was coming out of the bunker in the second video.

“Then, 2500 feet from the Syrian Border in an abandoned Syrian defense building (now on Israel soil).

“The briefings at the base were with the squadron commander and the top guns of squadron 117, a famous group of pilots that are chosen from 10,000 and then from 800 and then down to 20 and a final 12.

“They have F16 fighter jets that hold M19 and Israeli Python missiles and they drill all through the day. One drill happened while I was there.

The briefings were unique for me to attend and only occurred because I was with an intelligence officer this week that knew the commander of the squadron.

“The pilots are very thankful for our support and currently train with US personnel sometimes in the states.

The missile defense battery below Mt. Bental in the Golan Heights fired on an Iranian convoy in Damascus, Syria, just 28 Miles from where we were standing.

“Netanyahu made an emergency run to Moscow to meet with Putin re the Iranian mobilization at the Syrian Israeli Border where I was located yesterday. Returning Friday when I am told that we will attempt to meet again.

“Headed to the Israeli Knesset this morning for a ceremony recognizing the anti BDS legislation.

“Reporting from Israel, Brandon.”
