Salt Lake City, May 4 – The Houston Rockets, first in their playoff bracket, dominated the Utah Jazz tonight in the third game of the playoff series between the two teams but the first game in Salt Lake City, home of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The final score of the game, 113 to 92, almost makes the game seem closer than it really was.
The Rockets totally dominated the first half, which concluded 70 to 40. The Rockets essentially rested during the second half of the game.
James Harden was the Rockets’ high scorer with 25 points, 12 assists, and 4 rebounds. The Rockets’ Eric Gordon came from the bench to score 25 points during the game as well.
The Rockets now lead the series 2 games to 1 and have regained the home field advantage. Houston will face Utah again on Sunday at 7 p.m. in Salt Lake.
