President Trump fights back, cancels Pelosi’s trip due to shutdown

President Donald Trump’s letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Washington, January 17 – President Donald Trump sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, in which he informed her that her public relations trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan “has been postponed” as a result of the government shutdown. Pelosi and her democrat colleagues have precipitated a shutdown of the federal government, because they refuse to provide funding for the $5.7 billion border security wall, which President Trump has made a key priority of his administration.

President Trump told Pelosi, “I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative.”

Clearly, President Trump fights for his principles and presents liberals with a Chief Executive like they have never previously seen.
