Magnolia, February 26 – On February 25, 2019, Deputies with the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable Chris Jones’ Department executed a search warrant in Magnolia. Deputies received information that a white female named Wanda Zamen (53) was growing marijuana and manufacturing THC (marijuana) edibles at her home on Sendera Drive.
A search warrant was signed and executed at approximately 4:30 pm. A search of the residence and a recreational vehicle in the driveway produced several bags of illegal narcotics.
During the search a bag containing 337.4 grams of THC edibles was found along with 6.9 grams of illegal mushrooms, 14.8 grams of marijuana, 2 hits of LSD (ACID) and several pipes, bongs and other drug paraphernalia.
During an interview with Mrs. Zamen she did admit to personally making the THC edibles. Mrs. Zamen was arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance penalty group 2 (THC) a first degree felony, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 (Mushrooms) a second degree felony and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1A (LSD) a state jail felony.
Mrs. Zamen was arrested and transported to Montgomery County Jail where she was released to jail personnel.
Constable Chris Jones commented, “The Precinct 5 Constable’s Office will continue to pursue those who are growing and manufacturing illegal substances in or around Montgomery County. If you know of anyone using, manufacturing or selling Illegal Narcotics please contact this office.”
