Conroe, April 3 – Yesterday a jury in the 221st District Court of Montgomery County found Jonathan Robert Sutton, 32 years old, of the Pinehurst area, guilty of online solicitation of a child. Today that same jury sentenced Sutton to 10 years probation, along with 180 days confinement in jail and registering as a sex offender.
The Precinct 3 Constable’s Office of Constable Ryan Gable announced, “We are proud of the job Detective Epperson from Montgomery County Constable Pct 3 Internet Crimes Against Children Division did.”
On April 24, 2018, Jonathan Robert Sutton was taken into custody after communicating with undercover officers and showing up at a sports facility in Montgomery County with the intention to have sex with a 13-year-old female. Detective Epperson was able to develop a strong case and to provide the evidence needed for the Montgomery County D.A.’s office to get a conviction at trial.
