Conroe, June 1 – “It’s Hammer Time,” the popular television series on Facebook (MCP.TV) and YouTube (MCP.TV) will return to the air today, Friday, June 1, 2018, at 12 noon, after a one-week hiatus. The show will have two amazing guests who are a pair of the largest personalities in all of Montgomery County.
Conroe City Councilman Duane Ham, shown above holding a fish he claims to have captured, will appear first to discuss water issues, the politics of Conroe and the County government. Ham is a genuine water rights expert and has been one of the leading voices to tamp down the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District and the San Jacinto River Authority.
Appearing during the second half of the show will be Paul Dewey Jones, who has been a leader in south Montgomery County for over four decades. Jones was one of the co-founders of the Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, a charter member of the Woodlands Country Club, and involved in numerous governance issues since The Woodlands came into being. Jones is one of the leading (and loudest) voices to oppose incorporation of The Woodlands. Host Eric Yollick will get to the bottom of why Jones doesn’t want The Woodlands Township to become a city.
With those two characters on the show, this one ought to be a doozie.
