MORNING EXTRA!

The Woodlands, October 24 – Matt Beasley announced today that he intends to file as a Republican candidate for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3.

“I was shocked to hear that Judge Connelly was retiring and not seeking re-election. She has proven to be one of the hardest working and most caring people Montgomery County has ever seen,” Beasley said.

“Public service has always been a part of who I am.  This office will provide another opportunity for me to serve the people of my community.”

Beasley started his career with The Woodlands Fire Department as a Dispatcher.  While working as a Dispatcher, he attended The University of Houston – Downtown Police Academy. After graduating with honors from the Academy, he was hired by Constable Tim Holifield as a Deputy.  Years later, Beasley was transferred to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and ended his full-time law enforcement career as a Detective.

Beasley was hired by County Commissioner of Precinct 3, James Noack, as Project Manager. Beasley currently serves as Chief of Staff to Commissioner Noack.

Beasley stated, “I have been blessed to work with so many great people. I fully commit to providing the same level of remarkable service our community has enjoyed under Judge Connelly’s leadership. My unique professional experience will prove valuable to our community and the Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3, office.

If I am fortunate enough to win this election, I plan to spend a lot of my time, on a volunteer basis, as a clerk and assistant to Judge Connelly. I want to be the best prepared Justice of the Peace as possible”.

Beasley lives in The Woodlands with his wife, Kelli, their two sons, Brooks and Brett, and daughter, Brinley.
