Marital biting leads off MCSO Arrests

The following reports come directly from a report of Lieutenant Scott Spencer, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

District 1

On January 18, 2017, a District 1 Deputy was dispatched to a family violence call in the 9700 block of Deep Forest, Conroe. Upon arrival, the Deputy met with a male victim who had scratch marks and blood on his face. The victim said his wife was mad at him for going through her phone and she shoved, bit and scratched him. The female suspect was arrested for Assault- Family Violence, and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

On January 22, 2017, a District 1 Deputy was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 9100 block of Wapiti Trail, Conroe. Dispatch advised that a female called to say her husband had strangled her and while she was still speaking to dispatch, the phone disconnected. Upon arrival, Deputies attempted to make contact with someone in the home, but received no response. Deputies could see movement through the glass on the door and, due to the potentially deadly circumstances, forced entry was made into the home. The male suspect was detained and the female victim was found in the master bathroom, holding a baby. The male was arrested for Assault-Family Violence (strangulation) and interfere with emergency phone call. The male suspect was transported to Montgomery County Jail.

District 2

On January 18, 2017, a District 2 Deputy was dispatched to the 4600 block of Trinity River Ct. in reference to a fraudulent possession of a debit card. The Deputy met several neighbors, who were holding a male down, at the location, to prevent him from leaving. The male suspect had been staying at a residence on the street and was believed to be stealing items. A debit card belonging to the home owner was found on the male suspect as well as another debit card of an unknown individual. The 33 year old male, from Montgomery, was arrested and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

On January 18, 2017, a District 2 Deputy responded to the 10200 block of Jewel Ct. in reference to an Assault –Family Violence call. The Deputy met with a female who advised she and her boyfriend got into an argument that turned violent. The disabled female victim advised she was choked several times and struck with fists in the face, arms and legs causing substantial bruising. The 27 year old male suspect, from Houston, had fled the scene but was soon apprehended and charged with felony assault. The suspect was transported to Montgomery County Jail.

District 3

On January 16, 2017, a District 3 Deputy was dispatched to the Wal-Mart in Porter, regarding a theft call. After arriving on scene, a 37 year old male was arrested for theft and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

On January 20, 2017, a District 3 was dispatched to Savannah Dr. regarding a trespasser call. After arriving on scene, a 44 year old male was arrested for violation of a protective order and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

District 4

On January 22, 2017, a District 4 Deputy observed an 18 year old male stumbling as he exited the Denny’s Restaurant on FM 1488. The Deputy made contact with the male and, after conducting a standardized field sobriety test, arrested the male for public intoxication and transported him to Montgomery County Jail.

On January 17, 2017, a District 4 Deputy was dispatched to the 16000 block of Beaver Lane in reference to a Suspicious Person. Upon arrival, the Deputy met with the reportee who advised he had witnessed a 45 year old male carry a container from his house and place it under the hood of his car. The Deputy made contact with the male and his girlfriend who were acting very nervous. A K-9 Unit was called to the scene to investigate the vehicle. The K-9 indicated a positive alert, from the outside of the vehicle, for narcotics. The container under the hood was located and determined to contain methamphetamine. The male suspect was taken into custody for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

District 5

On January 16, 2017, a District 5 Deputy was dispatched to the 9300 block of Old River Rd. in reference to a family Violence call. Upon making contact with the victim, the Deputy was advised that she and her husband had gotten into a verbal argument that turned physical. According to the victim, the male grabbed her by the throat and began choking her to the point that she could not breathe. The victim was able to get away from her husband and ran out of the residence. Deputies found the suspect lying in bed, pretending to be asleep. The suspect advised that nothing had occurred and could not explain the injuries to his wife. The husband was arrested for Assault – Family Violence (strangulation) and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

On January 12, 2017 a District 5 Deputy was dispatched to an Indecency with Child call in the 12000 block of Kimberly Trace. During the investigation, the Deputy learned that a 20 year old male had been sending nude photos of himself to a minor. Conroe Police advised that they had located the suspect at a Jack -N-Box in Conroe, and he wanted to turn himself in for making sexual statements to a minor. After talking to the suspect he advised he did not wish to make any statements. When asked about his cell phone he advised that he did not have one. Upon reviewing surveillance video from the store, the Deputy could see the suspect talking on a cell phone, placing the phone in a bag, and hiding it in the bushes near the store. The bag, containing two cell phones was collected. The suspect was placed into custody and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

District 6

On January 17, 2017, a District 6 Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling in excess of 100 mph on Woodlands Parkway at Falconwing Drive. The driver, an 18 year old male, was placed into custody for Racing and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 18, 2017, a District 6 Deputy was dispatched to The Woodlands Mall in reference to a suspicious person call. Upon arrival, the Deputies detained a suspect as he was running from Macy’s. The suspect, a 22 year old male, stole $158.00 worth of merchandise from the store. The suspect was taken into custody for Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
