Washington, May 1 – The liberal media has misquoted President Trump by attempting to claim that he said he wants to eliminate the United States Constitution’s system of checks and balances, supposedly calling them “archaic.”

President Trump most certainly called the rules of procedure of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives “archaic.” Specifically, President Trump said, “It’s a very rough system. It’s an archaic system. It’s really a bad thing for the country.”

He’s right. The Senate rules and House rules do seem a bit out of date. They seem to prevent reforms from occurring.

The media has clearly overstepped the bounds of the truth, however, in accusing President Trump from trying to amend the United States Constitution. That’s not what he said.

Once again, the liberal media is spouting fake news.
