Montgomery County, June 28 – “It’s Hammer Time,” the popular Facebook Live and YouTube show at MCP.TV, will host nationally-renowned education expert Bruce Deitrick Price at 12 noon today. Price is the best-selling author of “Saving K-12: What Happened to Our Public Schools? How Do We Fix Them?”

Price’s best-selling book.

Price’s official biography follows:

“Bruce Deitrick Price is a novelist, artist, poet, and education reformer. He graduated with Honors in English Literature from Princeton and lived for many years in Manhattan where he ran a graphic design business. Along the way he was fascinated by the counterproductive practices so common in public schools. Explaining this weirdness is challenging, Price says, and a lot of fun. He founded Improve-Education. org in 2005.”
Price was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and is a veteran of the United States Army. Price loves talking about how public schools “wallow in mediocrity” and is an expert at discussing and explaining the dysfunctionality of current public education methods.

Callers will have the opportunity to speak directly with Price during the show by calling asking questions on Facebook during the live presentation.

The show will air from 12 noon to 1 p.m. today, Friday, June 28, and will continue with encore presentations throughout the weekend.
