“It’s Hammer Time” to host former Conroe Mayor Webb Melder on “sunset” of San Jacinto River Authority

Former Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District Board President and former Conroe Mayor Webb Melder.

Bill Brenza, Special Reporter to The Golden Hammer

Montgomery County, November 13 – “It’s Hammer Time,” the popular Facebook Live and YouTube show at MCP.TV airing at 12 noon today, Friday, November 13, 2020, will feature former Conroe Mayor and former Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District (LSGCD) President Webb Melder. The show will discuss the “sunset” process in the 87th Texas Legislature with respect to the San Jacinto River Authority.

Melder is someone who speaks his mind and has become a fierce advocate for private property rights and for Montgomery County citizens’ need for substantially lower water bills. Melder has criticized both the LSGCD on which he served from 2017 to 2020 and the San Jacinto River Authority. Melder’s views are aligned, however, with the current LSGCD Board of Directors, which has fought for deregulation and property rights.

The show will air from 12 noon to 1 p.m. today, Friday, November 13, and will continue with encore presentations throughout the weekend.

To watch the show, please go to MCP.TV on Facebook or YouTube. To call in with a question, please call 832.990.9170 during the live presentation.

MCP.TV and MCPLive.TV are the brainchildren and the network, which the brilliant Bill Brenza, its President and Executive Producer, created. “It’s Hammer Time” airs live every Friday at noon.
