Conroe, April 30 – “It’s Hammer Time,” the popular Facebook Live, YouTube, and Roku show found at MCPLive.TV, will host Conroe Mayor Pro Tem Raymond McDonald, who also happens to be a gifted musician and will perform, at noon on Friday, April 30, 2021.

Raymond McDonald was elected to the Conroe City Council Place 4 position on June 30, 2018. His campaign website contains the following biography:

Raymond McDonald was raised with his 2 brothers and sister in the Houston area, then found his true home in Conroe in 2000. It was then that, after years of participation at The Anaheim Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Raymond and Teresa, his wife of 24 years, planted The Vineyard Church on San Jacinto Street in downtown Conroe. With Raymond as Senior Pastor, the church has grown by serving the needs of the surrounding community. In addition, from their home across the street from The Vineyard Church, the McDonalds have planted five other churches in Texas and Central America.

Raymond McDonald’s business sense stems from his decades of hard work growing churches, as well as his civil engineering studies at Texas A&M University, and his years as a Cost Estimator dealing primarily with the Harris County Flood Control District. Raymond, also known in the Christian music world as “Sleepy Ray”, toured and recorded albums with his band “The Mighty Blood.” Raymond and the band still perform their unique version of gospel blues in churches and Montgomery County locales for all the community to enjoy.

Callers will have the opportunity to speak directly with the host or McDonald by submitting questions on Facebook.

The show will air from 12 noon to 1 p.m. today, Friday, April 30, and will continue with encore presentations throughout the weekend.
