Montgomery County, January 18 – Chief Jim Napolitano will be the guest on “It’s Hammer Time,” the popular show affiliated with The Golden Hammer newspaper, on Friday, January 18, 2019, at 12 noon. One question which Napolitano will answer among others during the live show is “Did Osama bin Laden win?” The question refers to the fact that the terrorist bin Laden sought to destroy American civilization and freedom, mentioning in many of his writings that he wished to terrorize American citizens to a degree they would no longer feel safe.

The show will also concern the balance between “homeland security” spending of American tax dollars and security requirements.

The show will air on Facebook Live and YouTube Live at MCP.TV in a live presentation at 12 noon on Friday. Encore presentations of the show will continue through the weekend.

Napolitano is retiring as the Chief of the Police Department of the City of Montgomery on February 1. He is an expert on “homeland security” issues and a popular guest speaker at community events, particularly with respect to his areas of expertise, which also include law enforcement and responding to “active shooter” circumstances.

Napolitano owns a private security consulting firm, Universal Safety and Security Solutions, Inc., which serves oil and gas companies, government institutions, and even churches.

Napolitano is a 23-year veteran of the United States Secret Service where he served both Presidents Bush as well as President Clinton. During the George W. Bush administration, Napolitano was the Resident Agent in Charge of the Waco office of the Secret Service. In that position, he supervised and led hundreds of other agents to protect the United States Government.

Napolitano, whose nickname is “Nappy,” is one of the most popular law enforcement leaders in Montgomery County and a nationally-recognized expert on homeland security issues.
