“It’s Hammer Time” to feature SREC Committeeman Walter West II at high noon today

Montgomery County, July 13 – State Republican Executive Committeeman Walter West, II, who represents Senatorial District 4, which extends from the western edge of Montgomery County to Jefferson County at the Texas-Louisiana border, will appear as the Featured Guest on “It’s Hammer Time,” the wildly popular show affiliated with The Golden Hammer, Montgomery County’s leading daily newspaper, today, Friday, July 13, 2018, at 12 noon. West is a very serious conservative leader who commands a lot of respect within the Republican Party, but he’s also known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make almost any situation fun.

West resides in East Montgomery County. He served as a Combat Medic in the United States Army. After West retired from the Army, he began to work in corporate security for the energy industry.

West won election to the SREC during the June, 2018, State Republican Convention in San Antonio. He won election, which was the first time he ran, with 78.4% of the Senatorial Caucus vote.
