Houston, September 17 – Never to be denied, the Houston Texans have vaulted into a tie for the lead of the AFC South Division with only two other teams, one from Jacksonville and one from Nashville that claims to play for the entire state of Tennessee.

The Texans enjoyed a flawless day this Sunday in the National Football League. To add to their own success, they received help from the Tennessee Titans.

The Woodlands’ NFL franchise (actually named after one of its suburbs, Houston) has a 1-game winning streak. Although it’s unlikely that the team will tie the 22-game winning streak of MLB’s Cleveland Indians, the possibility still exists.

The strength of the Texans team and its brilliant Coach, Bill O’Brien, is on display in its perfect record in “away” games. The Texans have not yet lost an “away” game, a credit to the resilience and downright sturdiness of this football franchise.

Since the Texans have displayed such perfection in playing away from home, the odds are looking terrific in their game next week against a team at its elderly stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
