Gordon surrenders to authorities over Tamina shooting death

Murder suspect Wayne Gordon turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

Conroe, December 26 – Wayne Crosby Gordon, Jr. (an African-American, born September 1, 1968) turned himself into the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon. Gordon was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Eric Thomas. He is being held on a $150,000 bond.

On the afternoon of December 22, 2018, victim Eric Thomas was shot, and later died of his injuries in Montgomery County. As a result of the investigation into the shooting death, a 2004 two-tone (black over tan) Ford F-150 extended cab truck bearing Texas license plate #AP8- 3927 was observed leaving the scene of the shooting.

The vehicle Ford F-150 has numerous dents,and bears the words “Wayne Gordon Jr. Ceramic Tile” in gold lettering on both doors. On December 24, 2018, based on the investigation completed by Detectives an active arrest warrant for Wayne Gordon Jr. for the charge of homicide was issued. Gordon has known ties to the greater Houston area, and was believed to be armed and dangerous.
