Father and son from Clark family arrested for Deadly Conduct and in Jail for booking

Montgomery, March 27 – Just after 9:00 am, Deputies with Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 4 Patrol were dispatched to 77 Hall Drive North, Montgomery, Texas in reference to a Deadly Conduct.

While in route, the complainant advised that she had recently separated from her husband due to a history of domestic abuse.  The complainant along with her two youngest children were staying at the neighbor’s house when she noticed her husband, Jarrod Clark and their 17-year old son, Matthew Clark, pointing rifles at the neighbor’s house where she and the children were staying.

While hiding in the house, and waiting for law enforcement, the complainant advised that she heard approximately four to six gunshots.  It is unclear in what direction the gunshots were fired.  Responding Sheriff’s Deputies on scene also heard the shots.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies along with S.W.A.T. and the Crisis Negotiations Team responded to the scene.  Montgomery County S.W.A.T. approached the residence and took Jarred Clark (born 12-27-80) and Matthew Clark (born 6-25-99) into custody without incident.

Based on the investigation conducted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Jarrod Clark and Matthew Clark were arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct.  Both were taken to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail and are currently awaiting booking.
