Conservative Vigilance Calendar, October 12 to 18

Image: According to the Georgian Orthodox Church, “The feast of Svetitskhovloba in Georgia is celebrated twice a year: on October 14, when it falls on the feast of the Protecting Veil of the Mother of God, and on July 13, when the Christian world celebrates the Synaxis of the Glorious and All-laudable twelve Apostles, to whom the church in the city of Mtskheta is dedicated.” Montgomery County Republican Party Treasurer John Hill Wertz and Finance Committee Chair Kelli Cook carefully scheduled the Montgomery County Republican Party’s First Annual Golf Tournament to fall on the same date as the Feast of Svetitskhovloba. Clearly, by choosing a holiday which occurs twice per year, Wertz and Cook intend to have two golf tournaments per year to celebrate the Republican Party!

Montgomery County, October 12 – For vigilant conservatives, it’s a very busy week ahead.

Monday, October 14, April Sound Country Club, 1000 April Sound Boulevard, Montgomery – The Montgomery County Republican Party’s First Annual Golf Tournament will tee off finally. John Wertz, Kelli Cook, Cheila McKay, and many other volunteers have worked incredibly hard to prepare for this event. Wednesday, October 16, 7 p.m., Shenandoah Municipal Complex, 29955 IH-45 North, Shenandoah – The Shenandoah City Council will meet.

Thursday, October 17, 2 p.m. MCPLive.TV (Facebook Live or YouTube) – “The Christian Collins Show.”

Thursday, October 17, 4 p.m., Woodlands Township Boardrom, 2801 Technology Forest Drive, The Woodlands – The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will hold a regular Board meeting.

Friday, October 18, 12 noon MCPLive. TV (Facebook Live or YouTube) – “It’s Hammer Time” will feature Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs, former member of Congress and a candidate for the Woodlands Township Board of Directors.
