Image: June has many exciting holidays. Of course, many citizens are particularly excited about June 24. Additionally, elected Montgomery County Republican Party Treasurer John Hill Wertz spent the day yesterday looking for his swim trunks in preparation of World Ocean Day on June 8, 2019.

Conroe, June 8 – As Texans lead the Nation in recovering from yesterday’s National Donut Day and celebration of Calvin Russell’s birthday, there are some important events this coming week.

Saturday, June 8 – National Bestfriend Day. This newspaper hopes you won’t spend the day by yourself!

Sunday, June 9 – The Golden Hammer will publish an article about one of the worst agenda items ever to appear on a Commissioners Court agenda for the Tuesday, June 11 meeting.

Sunday, June 9 – Tony Awards.

Sunday, June 9 – Festival of the Pentecost.

Sunday, June 9 – Shavuot.

Tuesday, June 11, 9:30 a.m.,  Sadler Administration Building, Commissioners Courtroom on Fourth Floor, 501 North Thompson, Conroe – Montgomery County Commissioners Court. There are numerous agenda items perilous to taxpayers and citizens. There will be a “Golden Hammer Award.”

Tuesday, June 11, 6 p.m., Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District Building, 655 Conroe Park North Drive, Conroe, Texas – The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District Board of Directors will meet. There are at least three perilous agenda items on the agenda, which conservatives should oppose.

Tuesday, June 11, 6:30 p.m., 21679 McCleskey Rd, New Caney 77357 – Jan Peterson of Mission Northeast will speak to the regular monthly dinner meeting of the East Montgomery County Republican Women.

Wednesday, June 12, 12 noon MCP.TV (Facebook Live or YouTube) – “This Week in Montgomery County Politics” starring Bill Brenza and Jon Paul Bouche.

Wednesday, June 12 – Phillippines Independence Day.

Thursday, June 13, 5:30 p.m., 73 Greenbriar Drive, Panorama Village (Conroe) 77304 – Liberty Belles Republican Women will host “86th Legislative Report.” Check-in and social 5:30; 6:00 pm. dinner followed by a short meeting.  The 86th Legislative Report Panel will be TEXAS FEDERATION of Republican Women Vice President, Legislation, Julie Faubel, Empower Texans & Texas Scorecard Houston Correspondent Regan Reed, and SD 7 State Republican Executive Committee Chairman Mark Ramsey.  Please RSVP at; questions or requests regarding diet restrictions or if you wish to attend but don’t require a meal, please call Ruthie at 713.557.7663.
