Conroe, July 6 – A busy week is coming for vigilant conservatives.

Sunday, July 7 – The Golden Hammer will complete a four part series on subsidence and its relationship to groundwater production. The article will focus on the perspective of the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District and its Board members as well as the perspective of Restore Affordable Water, a citizens and property rights organization.

Tuesday, July 9, 9:30 a.m., Sadler Administration Building, 501 North Thompson Street, Conroe – The Montgomery County Commissioners Court will attempt to hold a “regular” meeting.

Tuesday, July 9, 6 p.m., Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District, 655 Conroe Park North Drive, Conroe – The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District will hold its monthly Board of Directors meeting.

Tuesday, July 9, 6:30 p.m., 21679 McClesky Road, New Caney – The East Montgomery County Republican Women will hold their monthly meeting with Jan Peterson of Mission Northeast as the guest speaker.

Wednesday, July 10, 11:30 a.m., Landry’s Seafood, 1212 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands – The Woodlands Republican Women will hold their monthly luncheon.

Wednesday, July 10, 12 noon, MCP.TV (Facebook Live or YouTube) – “This Week in Montgomery County Politics.”

Wednesday, July 10, 2 p.m., Conroe City Hall, 300 West Davis Street, Conroe – The Conroe City Council will hold a workshop.

Wednesday, July 10, 5 p.m., Montgomery County Jail, Sheriffs Academy, 112 Academy Drive, Conroe – The Citizens Budget Committee will hold its first formal meeting on the Conroe Independent School District Budget at which Subcommittees will present their reports on salaries and accounting standards. Additionally, there will be a brief overview of the budget. Then there will be a discussion among the full Committee on the direction of budget policy. Citizens Budget Committee Chairman Jon Bouche will preside over the meeting. Thursday, July 11, 6 p.m., Conroe City Hall, 300 West Davis Street, Conroe – The Conroe City Council will hold a regular meeting.

Thursday, July 11, 7 p.m., Spring Creek Barbecue, 19099 Interstate 45, Shenandoah – The Montgomery County Republican Party’s Public Relations and Marketing Committee will meet.

Friday, July 12, 12 noon MCP. TV (Facebook Live or YouTube) – “It’s Hammer Time” will feature a “Serious Discussion on Why The Woodlands Should Incorporate as a City” with Bill O’Sullivan (The Sage and Treasurer of the Texas Patriots PAC) and possibly others.
