BREAKING NEWS! Wilkerson forms new political party but shhhhhh! It’s a secret: please don’t tell anyone who the officers of The Montgomery County Republican Party of Texas are

Conroe, October 10 – Step aside Oddfellows, Elks, Illuminati, Skull and Bones, and the Loyal Order of the Moose, because you’re no longer the only secret societies in America! The “Montgomery County Republican Party of Texas” is the newest society and won’t disclose the names of its Party Officers.

There used to be an organization by the name of “Montgomery County Republican Party.” Until June 26, 2018, that organization had Bylaws which an elected County Republican Chairman followed and which had established procedures for selecting its officers all of whom were disclosed publicly. Nevertheless, on that day, something  happened. A group of elected Precinct Chairs passed new Bylaws, which the State Republican Executive Committee has recognized are valid by a 64 to 0 vote, and which permitted the election of all of the officers other than the County Chairman.

On June 26, 2018, under the direction of County Republican Chairman Wally Wilkerson, the Montgomery County Republican Party elected Reagan Reed as Vice Chairman, Rachel Bingham as Secretary, and John Hill Wertz as Treasurer. Everything was fine until two days later when Wilkerson’s closest allies told him that was unacceptable and convinced Wilkerson to break off from the “Montgomery County Republican Party.”

The real Montgomery County Republican Party now has a fully-authorized – and beautiful – website at www.mcgop.online.

Since the State Republican Executive Committee voted last week that Wilkerson has engaged in conducted “designed to disgrace the Republican Party,” Wilkerson has created a new organization with the name “The Montgomery County Republican Party of Texas” which apparently has secret officers. If one goes to the unauthorized website, www.mcrp.org, goes to the link “MCRP Leadership,” and then clicks on “MCRP Officers,” you’ll discover it’s a private, secret society, which does not disclose the identity of its officers.

These are interesting times for Texas and Montgomery County. There seem to be three political parties: the Republican Party of Texas (conservative with a Republican Party Platform), the Democratic Party of Texas (ultra-liberal with a Democratic Party Platform), and The Montgomery County Republican Party of Texas (follows Wallican loyalty with no Platform other than whatever Wally’s whims are at the moment.)
