BREAKING NEWS! Putting his poor leadership on display (yet again), Governor Abbott fires PUC Commissioner D’Andrea 12 days after he appointed him

While Texas Public Utilities Commissioner Arthur D’Andrea played around with cute social distancing promotions, he slept at the switch in overseeing Texas’ electric grid to prepare for events such as the winter storms two weeks ago.

The Golden Hammer Staff Reports

Austin, March 16 – Only 12 day after he promoted him to Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission, a clearly confused Texas Governor Greg Abbott asked for the resignation of his political crony Arthur D’Andrea. Abbott should have known better than ever to have appointed D’Andrea to the Chairmanship, when, it was clear that Abbott should have required D’Andrea’s resignation instead on March 3, 2021.

Governor Greg Abbott tonight issued a statement on the resignation of the Public Utility Commission (PUC) Commissioner Arthur D’Andrea:

“Tonight, I asked for and accepted the resignation of PUC Commissioner Arthur D’Andrea. I will be naming a replacement in the coming days who will have the responsibility of charting a new and fresh course for the agency. Texans deserve to have trust and confidence in the Public Utility Commission, and this action is one of many steps that will be taken to achieve that goal.”

What a mess.
