New Caney, April 28 – Precinct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden’s team of highly-trained deputies arrested two felony suspects in the Splendora area for possession of 122 grams of methamphetamine and a hand gun during a traffic stop on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, just before 6 o’clock p.m.
The deputies had stopped a silver Ford F150 truck for speeding on the northbound feeder road of Highway 59 just before East River Road in Splendora. They found the meth in separate baggies during an investigation as well as a .380 semi-automatic hand gun. Both the driver, Nathan Wells, 34 of Cleveland, and Jennifer Dayton, 26, also of Cleveland have been charged with first degree felony charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
Hayden noted, “These drugs were probably destined for the streets of Montgomery County. It’s a good thing that the Deputies were able to locate these drugs and get them off the streets.”
