The Golden Hammer Staff Reports
The Woodlands, July 31 – Precinct 3 Montgomery County Commissioner James Noack responded to the article in The Golden Hammer about the local Montgomery County Democratic Party sending out their first mailer of the 2020 election season in which the Democrats targeted recent high school graduates. Please see “Montgomery County Democrats Intend To ‘Start ’Em Young’ By Targeting Recent Graduates,” The Golden Hammer, July 30, 2020.
Noack, who is the incumbent Commissioner and the Republican Nominee for re-election, said in a press release, “In the most recent election, this month’s Primary Run-off election, Republicans out voted Democrats 3 to 1. The Democrats had a statewide race on the ballot, and Republicans only had local races, yet the Republicans still managed to turnout three times more voters.”
Noack continued, “Back in March, 40,000 more Republicans voted than Democrats in Montgomery County. In 2016 there were almost 70,000 more straight ticket Republicans than straight ticket Democrats. If the Democrats think printing 2,000 fliers that simply identify their slate is going to overcome these landslide numbers, they are going to be sorely mistaken. I look forward to that outcome and another victory in November.”
The General Election is November 3, 2020. The Democrats have put up Lore Jones as a candidate against Noack in that election.
