The Golden Hammer Business Staff Reports
New York and Conroe, November 16 – The TGH 25 Stock Index rose 7.4% during the past week, showing a resilient economy, even as traders showed jitters over the apparent unwillingness of the United States Treasury and the Federal Reserve to provide additional stimulus relief related to the Chinese Coronavirus.
Since the entire purpose of the TGH 25 Stock Index is to measure the true condition of the United States economy, one would expect that the index would be less volatile than the other stock indices which the liberal news media tends to highlight. The market continued to react to political occurrences.
General Motors showed the strongest advances among the stocks in the TGH 25 Stock Index.
Kelli Ann Cox, Publisher of The Golden Hammer, said about last week’s trading, “The purpose of this stock index is to examine the true condition of the American economy, not how a bunch of nervous nellies on trading floors react to political news. This week the TGH 25 Stock Index reached a record high, revealing that pro-business policies of the current administration have paid off, especially in efforts to deregulate and make the reach of government shorter.”
The TGH 25 Stock Index as of 12:01 a.m., Monday, November 23, 2020 is:
109.86. (Up 7.13 from the previous week.)
