The Answer is NO!

Corrupt Montgomery County Treasurer Stephanne Davenport.

New Caney, December 30 – The answer to the proposal is:

NO!

This morning The Golden Hammer received three iterations of basically the same proposal coming from the Davenport Ring and a low-hanging-fruit GOP Precinct Chair from East Montgomery County. The proposal came in writing twice and verbally once.

The proposed arrangement:

Iteration #1: If The Golden Hammer would not be so harsh towards County Treasurer Stephanne Davenport, then a group of the East Montgomery County Republican Precinct Chairs will encourage Marc Davenport and the group of convicted felons who post on Facebook and run a fake newspaper for him will not criticize Eric Yollick, Ginger Russell, Kelli Cook, Bob Bagley, and Reagan Reed. The first iteration came from a somewhat innocent messenger.

Iteration #2: If The Golden Hammer will not write negatively in any way about County Treasurer Stephanne Davenport, then Marc Davenport and the group of convicted felons who post on Facebook and run a fake newspaper for him will not criticize Eric Yollick.

Iteration #3: If The Golden Hammer will not write negatively in any way about County Treasurer Stephanne Davenport, then Marc Davenport and the group of convicted felons who post on Facebook and run a fake newspaper for him will not criticize Eric Yollick, Ginger Russell, Kelli Cook, Bob Bagley, and Reagan Reed.

The answer to all three iterations of the proposal is:

NO!

Reform doesn’t happen through more corruption. Reform doesn’t happen from hiding information and other facts, even though the corrupt Stephanne Davenport has made clear that’s her modus operandi as County Treasurer. Stephanne Davenport and Marc Davenport should feel like they’re in deep political trouble because their conduct has placed them into that situation.

This newspaper has clear purposes and goals: to bring about substantial reductions in the amount of tax dollars which the Montgomery County government spends and to clean up the corruption in the Montgomery County government.

Do you see making a name for Eric Yollick, Ginger Russell, Kelli Cook, Bob Bagley, or Reagan Reed anywhere inside of the statement of clear purposes and goals above?

This community has begun to step in to clean up the mess of corruption which we call “the Montgomery County government.” Threats and attempts at extortion from the Davenport Ring won’t stop us; they’ll make our desire to succeed much stronger.
