Conroe, August 7 – After an exhausting two weeks of outstanding detective work, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has taken four individuals into custody for their role in the murders of Jaquise Williams and Akeem Russell, both of Tamina, on July 20, 2017. Detectives are still hunting for additional “persons of interest” and a late model, light colored Nissan Pathfinder.
Roman Pray, 18, Thomas Lizcano, 17, and a juvenile have each been charged with Capital Murder and face the possibility of death or life in Prison. Roddrick Jordan, 30, has been charged with Aggravated Robbery with a sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
While the specifics of the case are still sensitive, it is clear that the motive was robbery and things quickly got out of hand. Fortunately, a young child that was at the residence located in the 9600 Block of Bimms Drive during the shooting, was not injured.
“It was with a heavy heart that our Homicide/Violent Crimes Detectives met with these grieving families this morning to bring them up to date on the status of the investigation,” commented Montgomery County Sheriff Rand Henderson. “However, we work for justice and we assured them that we would not quit until we are satisfied that all of those responsible are brought in.”
