322 DWI arrests in Montgomery County during holidays, 38.2% increase from previous year

Conroe, January 2 – Montgomery County Special Crimes Bureau Chief Tyler Dunman released the Driving While Intoxicated arrest information for Montgomery County for the time period from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day with 322 total DWI arrests. The Texas Department of Public Safety led the number of arrests by agency with 118 total.

The total holiday DWI arrests represent an increase by 38.2% from last year.

Total DWI Arrests – 322 (Compare to 233 in 2016 and 117 in 2015)

Total Felony DWI Arrests – 46

Total Misdemeanor DWI Arrests – 276
